Their orig. div. cert. appears to have a date conflict, married 1942, lasted 2.5-yrs., and divorced in 1952, but they separated in 1945, and it seems to have been 7-years before they finally divorced. Even so, that also seems to have an error in that the original typing showed divorce in 1953, but that was marked through and 1952 penned in. It's unreasonable that if the typist made a mistake that it would have been corrected by typing, instead of by pen. A worse mistake is that she married Charles Cook in 1950 (one or both were thus bigamists). That might have been the reason that no divorce from Charles Cook was found.
